This department newly was founded in March 2018 as a course within the General Graduate School,and aims to foster working-level specialists in the medical devices industry following the rapidly changing social demands. In order to select students of various careers and majors, we have collaborated with professors from College of Medicine, College of Administration, College of Engineering, and College of Law to establish the Department of Medical Device Engineering and Management.

In order to both foster specialists following the development of the medical devices industry and integrative personnel to strengthen the global competitiveness of Korean medical devices firms,we have composed the curriculum to raise medical device R&D planning specialists, medical device innovation product experts, medical device licensing and regulation experts, and medical device technology management and marketing specialists.

Furthermore, we focus on nurturing practical talent through domestic/overseas internship programs and specialized programs tailored to charter companies and students.

The Department of Medical Device Engineering and Management, Graduate School of Yonsei University welcomes all graduate students interested in the medical devices industry, and will do its best to foster middle managers that could grow into innovative leaders needed by businesses, and working-level professionals with eclectic and integrative knowledge.
